Chantal DERDERIAN-CHRISTOL was born in 1950 in Marseille. She follows free evening courses in school of Beaux-Arts Angers (France)

An irresistible longing for painting has led her towards liberating gesture and thoughts into large-sized abstract creations.A constant desire to explore innovating techniques has driven her to translate her abstract paintings into volumes.Recently she was drawn towards adding metal to her creations, thus associating the coldness and force of steel to the softness and fragility of Rousillon's ochres.Chantal is surfing on an exceptional creative wave, fitting perfectly into all sorts of actual and large volumes.
